In a charming small town, two children loved the local lemon farm, known for its “vibrant yellow lemons”. Lenny, the owner, had a secret: he sang to his lemons daily, making them smile and dance.
When Lenny lost his voice before harvest , the children tried to help, but the lemons stayed silent. Hearing other children practicing for a concert , they enlisted their help. Together, all the children sang to the lemons.
The trees shook, the lemons smiled, and they sang back, saving the harvest. Lenny thanked them, promising they could always sing to the lemons. This taught them that “the sweetest fruits of life grow from the songs we sing and the love we share”.
About The Author
Jeffrey Decker is an emerging author whose heartfelt stories are inspired by his journey as a parent to two young children and his 14-year career in behavioral health. With a Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration from Boston College, Jeffrey has risen from a dedicated caregiver to a respected leader, guiding treatment centers across the northeast United States to deliver exceptional, person-centered care.
